Today's Course Status

reton Bay Golf and Country Club opened in 1971 and is operated as a semiprivate club. We encourage memberships but are open to the public daily. With a membership you get preferred tee times on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Holidays. No advance tee times are taken Monday thru Thursday. This is a popular club and holds lots of tournaments during the week so call ahead or check our events calendar before heading out to play.

Bob Arnold is the head golf professional. He is very involved with day-to-day golf operation and maintenance of the course. He maintains a large junior golf progam. He also commits a great deal of time playing with the club members.

Breton Bay is a traditional golf course. This par 72 course is over 7,000 yards from the Championship Tees. The course also supports three additonal Tees: Mens (Blue and White) and Ladies (Red). There are no island greens or bunkers that run the length of the fairway. What we do have is lots of real estate. This is a great course to let out the shaft and let it rip. The course is maintained exquistely with manicured Bermuda fairways and bent grass greens. If you're used to hitting wedges and 9 irons into the greens you need to blow the dust off your long irons or hybrids, you're going to need them.

Breton Bay has a very good facility; offering swimming and tennis in addition to golf, which is included in a full membership. Check out the Swim and Tennis links. The golfing facility has a very nice practice range with mats or grass and has no restrictions on clubs. The range looks out over Breton Bay and is a very scenic place to practice. We also have an adequate practice putting green.
